We're fans of dark worlds, underground culture, extreme music, fancy tattoos... In short, a lot of stuff that's a bit tortured and out of sync with the average person. So we asked ourselves, what kind of product could we develop to display our passion in the heart of our home? We're fans of dark worlds, underground culture, extreme music, fancy tattoos... So we asked ourselves, what kind of product could we develop to display our passion in the heart of our home? To make it more in tune with our personality?
Honestly, it didn’t take us too long to find the perfect product: the decorative skateboard!! Already, the object itself is a symbol of counter-culture, of a sport that frees itself from rules and diktats, with its jargon and improbable figures…
Initially, we opted for real skateboards, made from Canadian maple (8 inches – 7 plies for connoisseurs), with 11 different visuals printed under each board. But we soon realized that the product was a little expensive for decorative purposes, and too beautiful to “grind” on concrete benches.
Even so, they’ve been sold-out for a while! So we decided to make them again, but this time in a way that made them decorative only (the wood used doesn’t allow you to ripple with the board), which greatly reduced the selling price, allowing the public to indulge in different models at the same time. The boards are sold with a wall bracket, which is quick and easy to install.
