Crisix is a Spanish thrash metal band from Barcelona, founded in 2008. Representing the raw energy and furious intensity of thrash, the band quickly established itself as one of the pillars of the modern European scene.
Their debut album, The Menace (2011), propelled Crisix to the forefront with its explosive mix of fast riffs, wild solos and incomparable stage energy. Inspired by giants of the genre like Metallica, Slayer and Exodus, the members of Crisix have created a unique sound combining the violence of old-school thrash with a touch of modernity and humor.
Their discography includes several notable albums such as Rise…Then Rest (2013), Against the Odds (2018) and Sessions #1: American Thrash (2021), where the group revisits American thrash classics. Their stage performances are renowned for their dynamism and interaction with the audience, transforming each concert into a giant, joyful and wild mosh-pit.
