SHELLY D’INFERNO

Model of hell

It was with great pleasure that we welcomed English model Shelly from Inferno for the first time, for a memorable Hyraw Clothing photo shoot in the kind of urban trash-hardcore atmosphere we love, the results of which you'll find in this mag!

Shelly d’Inferno, tattooed model, performer, designer, make-up artist, photographer… has been an active member of the alternative scene for over a decade. You’ve no doubt already applauded one of her shows at the biggest alternative events or international tattoo festivals, or seen one of her photos on one of the magazines whose covers she collects: Bizarre Magazine, Total Tattoo, Inkspired, Tattoo Italia and Advanced Photographer, to name but a few…

Always on the lookout for original ideas, Shelly d’Inferno undeniably brought her professional rigor, a lot of fun and, above all, a bit of her madness to this extraordinary session in a wild and decadent place… Wild and decadent: the perfect prelude to the world to come?

Shelly d’Inferno is an internationally recognized model, but she’s also a performer, designer, make-up artist, photographer and entrepreneur! Far from content to create animation in front of the lens, she also distinguishes herself through her creations, which you can find on her House of Inferno website.

Shelly first tried her hand at photography as a teenager, and soon discovered her passion for modeling, fashion and make-up. In 2009, after moving to London, she naturally began a professional career in these fields.

Alongside the aforementioned trades she pursues full-time, Shelly also designs and manages her own fashion brands Magic Markings and Rummager, which she hosts under her online sales site House of Inferno.

A clothing designer since the age of 15, Shelly continued her apprenticeship by completing a 3-year diploma in fashion design. Rummager, formerly known as Heavenly Inferno, began in 2009 and focuses on upcycled outfits, drawing inspiration from everything from punk-rock streetwear to bespoke stage outfits and creative costumes.

In 2013, Shelly was part of the foundation of a new fire performance group called Pyrohex that has been seen performing at numerous music and tattoo festivals and many of the biggest alternative events such as Hellfest Open Air, Download Festival, London Tattoo Convention, Wacken Open Air, Brusells Tattoo Convention, as well as many fetish events and clubs around the world…

As a versatile, hyperactive woman, Shelly has always been drawn to many creative styles, which are perfectly illustrated by her impressive modeling portfolio, but also in her photographic creations, make-up choices and clothing inventions…

Quoting her own words, Shelly explains that she could never be stuck in a single genre, and that she sees herself as a bit of a wild child, constantly changing shape and seeing beauty in many different things. Unclassifiable and protean, she constantly invites us to new visual experiences!
