To clean a leather wallet, start by emptying the contents of your wallet and removing anything that might interfere with cleaning. Use a soft brush or clean cloth to remove dirt, dust and debris from the leather surface. Then use a soft damp cloth to gently scrub the surface, possibly with a little soap and lukewarm water. Avoid using abrasive chemicals and do not use direct heat sources to dry it, such as a hairdryer, as this may damage the leather. You can also, once the wallet is dry, apply a small amount of leather conditioner or moisturizer made specifically for leather. This will help preserve the suppleness and beauty of the leather.
